Carnarvon

Well what to say about Carnarvon..... We only stayed two nights. That should tell you something. It's a typical small town in the middle of no where, with not a great deal going for it. That sounds harsh but I didn't really enjoy it. They have tried hard to modernise the foreshore and has a great playground. And Woollies is open on Sundays!!!

We stayed at a caravan park in town. Stocked up on food and water etc. We had a look at the town and a walk on the mile long jetty. Nice old jetty, bit windy though.
We also went out for a belated Mother's Day lunch to the pub and had a fabulous steak sandwich.
Then the best bit about Carnarvon, our friends caught up with us to start travelling together. Was so lovely to see Vicky, Craig, Zane, Zoe and Lilly. We had a night in Carnarvon with them before we left and headed to Quobba.
