Phuket Two

After Chiang Mai we flew back to Phuket for a couple of days.  We had some lovely weather and spent a little time at the beach. We timed it well and were there for the Asian Beach Games. There were pontoons set up for water polo, at the beach.  We had some fun trying to balance and play on them in the water, as the waves crashed around them.
 We had a fabulous time watching the beach volley ball and being entertained by the crowd.  We somehow managed to seat ourselves right with the local cheer squad.   Was a very loud hilarious time with lots of cheering and drumming.  The kids even got in with the band!  Was all good until it poured with rain, typical!  But we weren't to fussed, we were in our bathers anyway.


That night we had our final meal at Papas, very yum.  Followed up with the very delicious banana pancakes.  All in all we had a pretty fabulous few weeks in Thailand.  Lots of relaxing, lots of exploring, lots of shopping and lots of eating.  Such a wonderful way to finish our last four years travelling Australia.  It's a  trip we'll  always remember and be talking about for a long time.
